How to remove tensions in laser cut acyclic?
When you have laser cut in acrylic, it creates tensions. These you can relieve by placing the laser cut material in a completely normal kitchen oven at 60 degrees for two hours.
How to skip the melanized or burned areas in laser cut paper and wood?
Use transfer tape. That tape you normally use to mount your carved vinyl items precisely. Then wrap the material you want to cut, laser cut it and remove the transfer tape. Now the transfer tape should have done its magic by absorbing the melanized or burned areas.
This method can also be used if you want to create very precise engravings with thin lines.
